The Sec 2 and Sec 3 cohort trips were massive and involved a large number of staff, including EAS colleagues. Safety SOPs have been revised by MOE as well, to take into consideration new developments and trends all over the world, and to focus on developing students and teachers e21CC. Students lack sufficient content accumulation in oral examinations, resulting in significant differences in their familiarity with various topics. For instance, they are more comfortable with everyday life topics but find societal topics relatively unfamiliar. This is primarily due to their limited exposure to Chinese reading materials, especially those addressing societal issues. Consequently, students also lack the necessary vocabulary required to articulate their views on such topics. Students in S2 are offered a range of Oracy experiences at the Cohort level (S2 Poetry Jam & Dramafest). However, no follow-up activities in S3 allowed students to extend and deepen their learning in S2. 2. The English and Chinese departments were also looking for ways to innovate and iterate on the experiences provided by the Bilingual Literature Camp for the Secondary 3 post-exam period. 3. It is a tradition for the Secondary 3 Humanities Programme / Advanced Literature students to put together a poetry jam event for their Secondary 2 juniors. While students may understand the writing requirements and how to approach the task, they still lack a clear and specific concept of what a finished composition should look like. 3.• Although students study texts from their textbooks, these texts are not designed or organized from a writing perspective, and they are often disconnected from the actual content of students' writing tasks. For example, for material-based compositions on exams, students cannot find any similar texts in their textbooks. To create a signature NYGH programme that builds on the resources of the school in championing community education and student leadership development, and leverages the facilities that the NYGH boarding school offers. 2.  How had it been experimented and enacted? BSE+ is a pilot residential leadership programme that brought together 17 students from both NYGH and cluster schools (Unity Secondary School, Dunearn Secondary School) to live and learn together in the NY Boarding School over a 12-day period. Through a series of curated activities, students honed skills in independent living, leadership and service.
