1. Engaging parents for the social emotional well-being of the students through building of stronger parent-child bonding 2. Raising parent's understanding of developmental needs of Sec 1 students. 3. Preparing parents for managing the Personal Learning Device with their child.
The programme was conducted for Sec 1s as their Term 1 Life Skills Programme successfully as planned.
Students (Selected Groups), Parents of Sec 1 students
Parents gained knowledge and understanding of their child's development and challenges, built stronger relationship with child through parent-child workshops conducted by teachers. The parents are also equipped with knowledge on how to negotiate with their child on the use of their PLDs.
This will continue to support the transition needs of future Sec 1 students and the model will continue to deployed for the Term 1 Sec 1 LSP with refinements with each iteration.
