Maintaining teacher pigeonholes

Current Situation:

The pigeonholes look like they are being eaten by termites because they are often covered with the sand like particles that termites leave behind.

Improvement:

They need to be checked for termites. Also, can the cleaners clean the pigeonholes once a week?
