Recycling of Blue/Yellow Ribbons

Present Situation:

Each staff was given a pair of blue/yellow ribbons for Founder'd Day celebration. However many did not use them and they would otherwise be put aside.

Improvement:

To request staff to return the unused ribbons which can be given to the Student Leaders for use at cheering events eg at national school games. Within a week, as on 28 Aug, 80 pairs of ribbons have been collected and the closing date is 31 Aug. The cost savings is worked out based on $1 per pair of ribbons. Also suggest in future, staff collect items of this nature on a needs/want basis, instead of giving out to everyone, unlike the meal coupons.
