Performing Arts virtual ensemble (BEL)

Present Situation:

Suspension of CCA due to COVID-19.

Improvement:

Performing Arts CCAs can explore virtual modes of performance (i.e. recording themselves individually and stitching the parts together in video post-production). An opportunity for Performing Arts BELs to conceptualise and coordinate an inter-CCA project to bring the arts to the school community during this season.

Protecting Sec 1 data on Registration Day

Contributed by LIM MEI HONG Current Situation: List of Sec 1 students posted into the school is put up on the noticeboard on Registration Day to inform them of their registration counter number. Parents take photo of the lists leading to comparisons of numbers from different primary schools etc. Improvement: Allocate students to registration counters by naming only the primary school. Group the primary schools such that the number of students for each counter is about the same.

Motion senser

Contributed by TEO ZHIYE Current situation: walkway outdside PE Dept to the CCA rooms and bookshop is too dark even in the brigh and sunny afternoon. Improvement: to save energy yet make the place bright and safe for students and staff, i suggest installing a motion sensor to turn on the lights. switching it on throughout drew flakes for wasting energy. safety first.
