Streamlining IdEa evaluation and follow-up work-flow

Present situation:

We had IdEa evaluation meeting on every one or two months. Evaluation panel member discussed and grade ideas accordingly. For the ideas could not be rated immediately, Wen Di or any evaluation panel member will follow up. Usually Wen Di will take note and record the comments accordingly.

Improvement:

Initiated by Dr Liu, now we tried some new methods and streamline the work process. For each evaluation, Wen Di generates the IdEa report and share in Google drive for evaluation panel to access. We still use the existing online report, but now we directly record the key points of discussion on the file, and we decide immediately after each idea discussion what grade to give, who should be the one to follow up, and which comm/team should we approach. With clearer instruction and communication, we would be able to follow up in a more effective way. And once we received the response or updates from relevant parties, each of us could update immediately on the spreadsheet, so as to minimize the miscommunication and close the case ASAP. Based on my observation, now the ideas are followed up in a more effective manner, and we will try our best to close loop with idea contributor, and update our comments and grade accordingly.
