Implementation Process
|
1. Fang-Yu,
John Lee & Lay Peng met up with ICCS (International
Coastal Cleanup Singapore) Volunteer Captain i/c of Tanah Merah Site 7 to find out the
preparation needed for Inter-Hostel Coastal Cleaning Event. Recee trip was carried out on 3 Feb 2013 to
Coastal Cleaning Site with Student Leaders planning for this event.
2. John & Fang-Yu worked with JCRC & BC ’13 student leaders on
wet weather plan (Stack, Drop & Go Tray Return Programme) for the Event.
3. Fang-Yu
invited 4 Guest Hostels and 3 Guest Hostels accepted invitation to send
participants: RI Boarding School (RIBS), River Valley High Hostel (RVH) and
Hwa Chong Institution Boarding School (HCIBS).
4. Fang-Yu
informed Staff & Tutors on preparation and duties needed for that day. Safety
Briefing for Boarders, Staff and Tutors was carried out on Actual Day.
5. Due to wet weather, Wet Weather Plan - “Stack, Drop & Go” Tray
Return Kindness Project was activated for boarders to go to 5 designated hawker
centres to promote awareness of Tray Return initiatives, and help to be a
role model to return any used food utensils and trays left on Hawker Centre
tables. Awards were given out for most enthusiastic groups at the end of
event.
