Battery tester

Current situation:

Battery tester got two pointed probes. When testing battery, especially for the 'button battery' the contact is very minimal and takes a while to stabilize. Much time is wasted and is very frustrating.Occasionally some usable battery may be thrown away



Improvement:

The pointed probes were replaced with a flat base.Now when testing batteries, the time taken to take the reading is minimized as the contact is increased . The reading is also stabilized.Much time is saved as we have many batteries to test.It is more time efficient and cost saving as accidental wastage is reduced.

International Friendship Day - Exchange Programmes with Asian Schools

The project addressed a gap in how International Friendship Day (IFD) was traditionally commemorated, which was typically through Kahoot quizzes or student-led presentations on other countries. While informative, these activities were largely passive, surface-level, and lacked authentic engagement with peers beyond Singapore. As a result, students had limited opportunities to develop deeper cross-cultural skills, global orientation, and an appreciation of Singapore’s geopolitical realities. Our rapidly evolving global landscape demands more than factual knowledge; it requires students to practise openness, empathy, and international collaboration. During the examination period, students experienced heightened stress levels while their usual support structures were disrupted. Students were skipping essential meals (breakfast and lunch) to focus on last-minute studying, missing out on both proper nutrition and food as a source of comfort. Concurrently, the absence of regular classroom lessons meant there were fewer natural opportunities for teachers to provide encouragement or check on student wellbeing, though students could still seek out their teachers individually. This created a gap where students were most vulnerable - dealing with peak stress whilst lacking adequate nutrition and reduced touchpoints for pastoral support - precisely when they needed these resources most. 2.  How had it been experimented and enacted?
