Zoom Cloud Recording for Staff Contact Time Zoom Meeting

Contributed by ONG POH CHOO Present Situation: Staff login to Zoom via meeting link. Staff may miss the Contact Time due to various reasons. Improvement: To record the Contact Time via Zoom Record to Cloud then share with Staff who are unable to attend the Contact Time.

Replacing the teachers' table in some classrooms

Contributed by TAN LU HOON @ IRENE TAN Present Situation: The teacher's table in some classrooms are in bad shape (eg 409 table - a small portion of the surface has come off, exposing the layer underneath to moisture and danger of rotting;411's table surface has popped up, creating an uneven surface for teachers' laptop and notes, the visualiser is at an odd angle due to the fixed position for the plugs) Improvement: Replace the teacher's table in the affected classrooms.

Student photos in NYGH Portal

Contributed by ANG JOO LIAK Present Situation: The student photos in the NYGH portal are those taken in Sec 1. When the students are promoted to upper secondary, there is no update of the photos they would take again in secondary 3. Teachers would be looking at their sec 1 photos which may be quite different when they grown to sec 3 or 4. Improvement: The data management SOP should include an annual update of all photos in sec 3 when the students have taken their new shots.

Using excel spreadsheet to record and track expenditure in shared drive.

Contributed by CHAN YUET KUEN Present Situation: Library expenditure was recorded on the physical payment record book for submission to the accounts department before the discontinuation of the record book on 2 Mar 2021. Total expenditure spent was done manually and not easy to monitor and check that the library expenditure is spent within our budget. Improvement: Using excel spreadsheet to record and track library expenditures in shared drive and to check that the library expenditure is spent within our budget. This saves time and effort on manual calculation and other dept can also adopt this method to record and track their department's expenditure.

Removable & portable tool box for ladder

Contributed by Andy ANG PECK HAI Present Situation: When preparing tools to dismantle or repair for works on height, we need to use ladder to access, due to sometime the tools needed and in order not to climbing the ladder up and down to avoid falling, normally we will try get the tools that are needed and sometime tools might be over carrying , we will than put those tools onto the ladder stand platform the highest point, the consequence is the object might be accidently dropping and hit the below person or building property. The safety is always our first concern. Improvement: The ideally propose is to use recycle material to custom make a removable & portable tool box to hook onto the ladder, the tool box design is to create more space to put in more tools that needed to works on height with ladder, so that tools can be more secure and is very convenience if we need to use it as and when. The advantage is no to worry the tools will accidently dropping and hit below person and ev
